I guess, it looks like some kind of a mental disease but as a matter of fact I’m starting another new project. Even in a bigger scale than usual. I’m leaving the god scale of 28mm (a relative thing nowadays anyway) indeed, just to dive into the shady world of Gotham and its inhabitants. Well, we’re… Read more »
Just to tease you a bit, here are some shots from my work desk. I can’t tell you why and I can’t tell how I came to the idea to paint some giants but I did. I like Giants, I really do, actually I always felt sorry for them as they’re obviously some of the… Read more »
Well, after some struggling and fence sitting I have decided to change the protagonist of my current project. The big mean Orc had to go and his place belongs to a big Ogre (manufacturer – Figone) now: I think he is just more appropriate for this role. Also I’ve brought some further players into the… Read more »
For some reason, no idea why, maybe due to season or some strange solar activity, I’ve stopped all my running projects (and there are quite a few) and started something completely new. I’ve started building a little vignette. Perhaps I’ve done too many miniatures for wargaming already, this time I’m going to do something just… Read more »
Sometimes I believe I’m just crazy.. My latest purchase. Brigade Games Gnoman Empire.
Still trying to paint all the miniatures I’ve purchased this year, above all my beloved Aventine ones. Now it’s the turn of the Sassanian guys. These Persians aren’t easy to paint at all as you need a lot of colors and you have to cover countless little details. Though afterwards it’s a very satisfying feeling… Read more »
It’s Friday! Which is good, but it is apparently a well known fact. Aside of this today I was going to pick up new figures for my workbench from the mines under my lead mountain, and this fact is not that really much well-known. Picking up the figures for the desk is a very important… Read more »
just adding some details, almost finished
First time I’m painting something of Sassanids , never had or did anything of them. But making my last order at Aventine I couldn’t withstand and bought that one lovely command pack and here we go. Far from finishing yet, very WIP, still puzzling what colours to use.
The mailman brought my recent Aventine order, some lovely models. What a great bunch of well sculpted characters! Just preparing them a bit. That one primed guy is priceless (a republican Roman), going to paint him right now. Maybe by tomorrow I’ll be able to post a painted him.
Just finished that horse for Caesar. The Caesar himself is still waiting for some brushwork. Also prepared these three famous guys (Xyston Miniatures) for painting. A pity they’re smaller than most Ancients 28mm miniatures on the market but I coudn’t withstand them, will be a great addition for my halls of fame.
