When I saw these Eureka miniatures based on the art of Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel, I immediately knew that I had to get them and that these would fit very nicely in Witchtown. So amazingly bizarre and quirky, they are really wonderful creations. The figures have been sculpted by Mick Darpa and there are more of… Read more »
For the third week of the LPL I’ve decided to go with some beastmen. They were waiting long enough for a paint job on my desk and I just was in the mood for some not-human miniatures. And I had a plan, I wanted to have something big and heavy in the middle of the scene… Read more »
Another Sunday after another round of Lead Painters League and I’m going to show you more pictures of my recent entry there. This time we go back to Witchtown, my beloved city of the Blessed, a quirky bunch of huts and streets, populated by not less quirky people. This time I’m going to introduce you… Read more »
After some African adventure and other nice things we’re back in Witchtown, looking at an amazing new wind mill, painted for me by Jan Gross (Lt.Hazel on LAF). As alway, Jan did a gorgeous painting job on that and I’m more than just happy to have this piece of art in my collection. For the… Read more »
Today no new figures but houses. They have been panted for me by a good friend of mine Jan Gross (also known as Lt.Hazel on several forums). I’m not that often into painting terrain, just not patient enough and every time I have an opportunity to get some of the stuff painted by my friends, I… Read more »
Back from Greece, full of ideas and longing for some days of just painting. Since in the last weeks I’ve watched a few seasons of the TV show “The Walking Dead” I’m totally drawn into all things Zombies. For today three new ones, coming from the Mordheim pack, as far as I know, not more… Read more »
Since every town in a fantasy world needs some proper catacombs, just to provide an additonal battlefield for the evil guys, their minions and all the would-be-heroes, it’s been a matter of time before Witchtown opened the gates to an own dungeon. Okay, admitted, it also was a financial matter as I’ve been too lazy to build… Read more »
As I’ve mentioned and promised before, in my last post, today we are discussing about a particular species, namely Giants. I like giants, I’m sure I’ve told that to you and I like to paint them or just to have them. I’ve bought a lot of these big chaps in all the hobby years and if you want to… Read more »
This update has been a while in the waiting queue, actually I’ve painted most of the miniatures for the LPL some months ago but as usual taking photos can take a while. Nevertheless here we go with some fantasy adventurers and I’m happy to show you the beginning of my Otherworld collection. Otherworld Miniatures is… Read more »
Take a guess, what are the odds that I would back off the current Zombicide Black Plague Kickstarter before it’s going to end? If you answer was “not much chance of that, dude” so you’re right. No chance at all. I probably never mentioned that on the sites of this blog but I like Zombicide… Read more »
Another house has been built in Witchtown. The town house for the famous Hansa merchant Friedrich von Mumpitzkröte. Almost all the Brugelburger citizens came along to marvel at the shiny house! The house is manufactured by Stronghold Terrain.
Some WIP shots from the process on a house for Witchtown, still need to paint the roof.
Some representative of the Holy Church of Witchtown. All o fthem are Lead Adventure Bruegelburg miniatures, though a few converted ones. They were a great fun to convert and to paint.
Some White Knight dwarves and pigs arrived in Witchtown! Lovely figures and a great fun to paint!
Just yesterday received a parcel from Grimm with some painted buildings. Good man, Grimm, love his work! and some shots with older scenery, this one made and painted by Jan Gross (Lt.Hazel) and here just a little scene
